FAQ

What should I expect?
Come as you are. You won’t need to dress up. You will be welcomed warmly and meet some new people who will accept you. The worship will have contemporary music and we offer the Lord’s Supper each week. It reminds us of Jesus and the meaning of his death and focuses us on living for him the upcoming week. There will be a message from the Bible that will be practical and inspirational. There is always a “family feel” around Living Faith.

What if I don’t have any experience at any church?

No problem. We have people from many different religious backgrounds and people who have never been to church before. Everyone is welcome here. In fact, some our most committed people are ones who (before coming to Living Faith) had not been to church in decades.

Why bother going to church at all?

If you see church as a place to go, on a certain day, at a certain time, then you have missed the bigger picture of what God wants church to be. Many people call Jesus “Savior” and never darken the doors of a church building. We want you to see a more biblical idea of what church is. It is people who are imperfect, but working together on their commitment to follow Jesus with their whole lives and help each other live out God’s plan for their lives. And while they do so, make a difference in the lives of people around them. This church helps missionaries, feeds the poor, helps single mothers and grandmothers, serves the community in special ways and is having an impact on lots of lives, starting with our own. Sunday morning worship services are only a small part of what we do. But it is a great place to get started!
