What We’re About

Loving Relationships
Love is the heartbeat of everything we do. We want everyone at Living Faith Christian Fellowship to feel a true sense of acceptance and belonging. You are loved!

We believe that loving, accepting, and challenging relationships are the primary environment God wants to use to facilitate His work of transforming our lives. Our Mentoring Groups are designed to be environments where these kinds of relationships happen.
1 Peter 1:22, John 15:12-13, 1 Peter 3:8

Simple Church
The early church met in the “temple courts and from house to house”, We want to follow that example. We gather together on Sunday mornings for worship, communion, and celebration of who Jesus is. We also meet in homes (we call them Simple Churches) throughout the week for fellowship, prayer, Bible study and training.
Acts 5:42, Acts 20:20, Acts 28:30, Romans 16:5, 1 Corinthians 16:19, Colossians 4:15

God’s Power and Presence
We crave God’s presence and power in everything we do. To that end, we purpose to acknowledge our dependence on God, and make room for Him in our Sunday Celebrations, Simple Churches, mentoring groups, and daily lives. Living in intimacy with God is the key to experiencing Him in all His fullness.
Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, Ephesians 3:16-20

Outward Focus
The Church’s most important mission is to reach those who don’t yet have a relationship with Jesus. Therefore, Living Faith Christian Fellowship will always have those “outside” our church on the forefront of our minds. We will show them the love of God by actively seeking them out, drawing them in, showing them the love of Jesus by ministering to their needs, and encouraging them to become followers of Jesus. Every Simple Church is focused on reaching out to friends, neighbors, and the community.
Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 5:20, Luke 15:4-7, 1 Corinthians 9:19, 22

Every Member a Minister / Every Disciple a Disciple-Maker
Church is not supposed to be a one-man show, where the staff does “all the church stuff” and everyone else just watches. Rather, it is the job description of all leaders in the church to empower everyone to be all Christ called them to be, and to help them do all Christ called them to do. Our goal is for everyone to be a growing disciple of Christ. Simple Churches (small groups that meet in homes) offer many opportunities to serve, minister, and lead. Our goal is to equip you to do the work of the ministry to which God has called you to affect your family, community, and the world.
Ephesians 4:11

Passionate Prayer
We are fueled by prayer. Why?

  • Because this world is hungry for the change that only God can provide. Ephesians 6:18, Colossians 4:2
  • Because we are more interested in what GOD can do through us rather than what we can do for God in our own strength.
  • Because we believe God wants to work though us, so we need to be close to Him and fully yielded to Him.
  • Because we minister out of the overflow of what God is doing in our own lives.
  • Because God answers prayers!
  • We encourage every person participate in a Sunday night online prayer meeting with the Erie Prayer Warriors https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3038838871
